This kids’ cooking studio is expanding its footprint in the Charlotte market. Flour Power Cooking Studios has signed a lease for 1,800-square-foot studio in Antiquity Town Center in Cornelius.
Franchisees Nathan and Sha Bolling of Huntersville will operate the location.
Flour Power Cooking Studios offers a setting where kids can have fun while learning to prepare healthy and nutritious food. Classes are available for preschool chefs starting at age 2.5 and into the teen years.
A new adult cooking program, called Sip N Stir, will debut there. Adults can bring their favorite beverage to enjoy while cooking and meeting new people.
Susan Caldwell founded the concept nearly 10 years ago. It has since grown to nine locations, including one in the Rea Farms development in south Charlotte and Quail Crossing in SouthPark
She’s working to franchise Flour Power nationally.
In addition to cooking classes, Flour Power also hosts birthday parties, kids’ night out — where parents also get a break— and corporate team-building events.
