The annual Miss Cabarrus County and Cabarrus County Outstanding Teen Competition will be held on Saturday, February 9th at Mt. Pleasant High School.
Candidates should be girls ages 13–24 that would be interested in competing for the two titles and the competition will consist of private interview, fitness, evening gown, talent and on-stage question. The winner from the Outstanding Teen competition (ages 13 to 16) will advance to the North Carolina Outstanding Teen Competition in High Point on April 14th.
The young lady who is crowned Miss Cabarrus County (ages 17–24) would advance to the Miss North Carolina Competition in Raleigh on June 22nd. Those two winners would then advance to America’s Outstanding Teen Competition and to Miss America, respectively.
Also needed are girls ages 6 through 12 to serve as Carolina Princesses to represent the candidates and participate in production numbers throughout the night of the competition on February 9th. The Carolina Princess Program is a mentorship program and not a competition. There will be a rehearsal on Sunday, January 27th, at 5:30 at Let’s Dance Studio in Kannapolis for all candidates and Carolina Princesses.
